Official Partiers.com Partying Terms and Party Dictionary - The words of partying - Party terms

Socially Lubricated or Pregaming - Becoming "socially lubricated" or "Pregaming" means to begin ingesting several beverages prior to your planned celebration.  To us at Partiers. com, it means having a few drinks before going out or before company is coming over to visit.  It permits you to gain a "head start" before everyone else.   The act of  becoming "socially lubricated" has the advantage of making you more relaxed amongst the crowd.  It also saves on your bar costs! The only disadvantage is the fact that you will be drinking longer than everyone else and leaving yourself more susceptible to a severe hangover unless you take the right precautions.

Buzz Killer -  Anything that ruins your partying spirit and destroys your good time, usually a person or situation.  As in, "Hey, who keeps ringing your cell?  I hope it's not your girlfriend because she's a Buzz Killer.  We still have 4 hours to party, you're not leaving to go see her yet."  Some true partiers and partying groups make up their own Buzz Killer Lists.  These lists contain people who are Buzz Killer's.  You don't want to be on someone's Buzz Killer List.

Drizzacked - The act of drinking to the point of feeling way too good and anticipating a massive hang over the next day. Other words for drizzacked are hammered, wrecked, wasted, toasted and two-sheets-to-the-wind.

PDNP.D.N. - Professional Drinking Night.  An official Partiers.com event.  When an evening is called a P.D.N. then you know you are going to consume some serious amounts of beverages, but maintain a professional demeanor and exhibit good manners the entire night.  Drinking will be your job during a P.D.N.

HDNH.D.N. - Heavy Drinking Night.  An official Partiers.com event.  H.D.N. means you will be drinking heavily, but probably not acting as professional as you would during a P.D.N.  You are free to be yourself and let loose.

B. D. N. - Belligerent Drinking Night.  A Belligerent drinking night goes above and beyond all levels of social acceptence, and may earn an individual a lifetime reputation.  Classic symptoms include, but are not limited to: nausea, vomiting, vertigo, and extreme frequency of urination.  Belligerent drinkers frequently engage in fighting, groaping and total malfunction of inhibitions.  B.D.N's can only be diagnosed the following day after a careful evaluation by close friends.

Lay it down - Your buddy might ask you, "Hey, are ya gonna lay it down tonight?" when actually your buddy is asking you if you are going to get romantic with your partner or not tonight.

Tight - Sometimes you may feel "tight" in social situations when you have not had enough cold beverages to make you feel comfortable.  Feeling "tight" is experiencing a night completely sober or somewhat sober when everyone else is drinking.  If you have the problem of feeling "tight" many times in social situations, you may want to look at becoming "socially lubricated" prior to the evening's events to loosen you  up a bit.

Are you in? - This question is usually asked over the phone during a midday conversation on Friday afternoon when one partier calls another partier about the night's upcoming activities.  One will ask the other, "Are you in?" which really means, "Are you ready to get together soon, go out and have a blast tonight?"

I am 100% in! - This is a positive answer to the above question, "Are you in?".   Being "100% in" means accepting the invitation to get together soon, go out and have a blast tonight.  If someone is "100% out" or says "I'm out" then  that means there is probably no chance of getting together tonight for some reason.  Sometimes you could be "50% in" which means there is a possibility you can make it tonight.   Percentages can vary up or down depending on the possibility of going out that particular night.  The person asking the question will usually do or say anything possible to get the other one motivated to go out that night and, therefore,  raise the percentage of being in.  This phrase can also be used in other social situations while partying.  For example, if your buddy asks you if you want to go throw down a shot, he may ask, "Are you in?" and you will respond with something like, "Oh yeah! I'm 100% in!" meaning that you are accepting his offer to get to the bar and bang a shooter!

Vibing - This is the unexplainable feeling one experiences when he or she initially had a low percentage possibility of going out, but is now becoming more and more excited (or "vibing" off a friend) because a close friend  is coaxing and stimulating you to go out that night.  The other person is so excited that you actually draw from their excitement and begin to become excited yourself to party that night too.  Once you start "vibing" off of someone else to go out, you'll usually end up having a good time and ending up happy you changed your mind and partied that night instead of staying home.  "Vibing" only occurs when someone who is less excited becomes more excited off of someone who is anticipating a great night out.   The question is usually asked, "Are you vibing tonight?" which means, "Is my excitement and enthusiasm to go out and have fun rushing into you and making you want to go out and party heavily too?"

Tapered - The term applied to someone who has a fantastic body and curves in all the right places.  Such as, "Wow! That girl is tapered" meaning that the girl has an outstanding body.

Half-in-the-bag - When a partier has reached a sensation of almost complete bliss, but not totally out of wack.  As in, "These drinks are pretty strong.  I'm already half-in-the-bag."

Lemme Know! - Usually said at the end of a conversation to indicate to the person that you're leaving now but want to be informed if something comes up, like a big bash or gathering somewhere.  You'd like to be in the loop and you're 100% in that night so LEMME KNOW!!!!

Hacienda - Not the Spanish word meaning house or home, but the partying term meaning a full blown, extraordinary, out-of-bounds party or partying situation!  Like this, "Cuzzie is having a hacienda tonight at Partiers.com HQ!  Let's goooooo!!"  or "This party is crazy!  What a hacienda!"

Network or Networking - True partiers have the gift of "Networking".  If you "Network", you get yourself out of the house for the evening, get out on the town and get socially involved with the mainstream partying scene in your area.  You may hear a partier say, "We gotta get out there and get networking"  or  "Let's pre-party at your place then network".

Flying under the radar - The state of a partier who is out of contact with the current party scene, party situation, party plans and seems to be doing his or her own thing.  Flying under the radar could mean a partier is partying alone, partying with others or in hiding and doesn't want bothered.  A partier who is flying under the radar can't be contacted for some unknown, mysterious reason.  As in, "Kliemer has been flying under the radar.  I talked to Nov and he said he hasn't seen or talked to Kliemer in two days."

Is that it? - The ultimate end of partying question.  If "is that it?" is answered with "Yeah, that's it." then you can be guaranteed that the party is over or definitely ending really soon.  Yeah, what a bummer! Time to sober up, count your empty beer bottles & wash out the beer bong because another day & night of partying is hopefully in the future.

Let's goooo!!! - Emphatically stated by a partier, "Let's Go!" means to rally the partying troops, get the party going, start the party engines humming and basically get every partier's ass in party gear!

Chemistry - The state of the party at any given time in your particular area of partiers.  This is exactly how the mood & state of those gathered together in a certain area of the party feel with those gathered together.  As in, "the chemistry between the 5 of us is relaxed, but as soon as Dave or Denny comes over here, it gets real uncomfortable.  He's a Disrupter and Denny is a Digger, but neither of them is a Blender."

Disrupter - A certain partier who completely messes up the Chemistry of the party in your particular area of partying just by showing up.  If you & your 5 buddies were partying outside and, for instance, Dave suddenly comes out of the house all loud & obnoxious, you might say to yourself "the chemistry out here was perfect until Dave showed up.  He's such a Disrupter."

Digger - A certain partier who completely messes up the Chemistry of the party in your particular area of partying as soon as he or she opens his or her big mouth because they constantly pick on anybody else about anything just to make that other person  look bad in front of others.  Say you & your 5 buddies were partying outside and, for instance, Denny suddenly comes out of the house acting all big & tough, you might say to yourself "the chemistry out here was perfect until Denny showed up.  He's such a Digger because as soon as he opens his mouth, he's gotta rip on somebody.."

Blender - A certain partier who completely blends in and mixes well with the Chemistry of the party in your particular area of partying & doesn't make a grand entrance by being a Disrupter or a Digger.  If you & your 5 buddies were partying outside and, for instance, Kliemer suddenly comes out of the house minding his own business, you might say to yourself "the chemistry out here has remained just perfect even though Kliemer just showed up.  He's such a Blender."
